Jeju Airport Taxi

Get within 30 minutes to downtown Jeju by taxi.

It is the most accurate mean of transportation for those who wish to get directly to their destination.

Types of taxi

At Jeju Airport there are available Regular taxis as well as Jumbo taxis.

Note that the jumbo one are the most appropriate for groups of passengers or in case you travel with large luggage.

On the other hand, there are also the short and long distance taxis, which will be according to the distance to your destination:

- Short: Jeju City, Aewweol, Halim, Gimneyeong, Jochenon.
- Long: Namjeju, Bukjeju, Jungmun, Seogwipo.

Tip

Most of the taxi drivers don’t speak English, it is recommended to have the address of your destination written down in a paper in Korean.

Location

Taxis wait outside terminals, Arrivals Hall, at the exit of Gate 3 after crossing the crosswalk.

Officers will lead you to the taxi stand for Jeju city or otherwise to the taxi stand for Seogwipo City.

Do not worry about the taxi queue, it is a first-come system.

Fares

A one-way trip to Jeju City costs about KRW 9,000 (regular taxi) and KRW 16,200 (deluxe taxi).

- Aewol-eup: KRW 25,000 (regular), KRW 45,000 (deluxe)

- Hallasan: KRW 30,000 (regular), KRW 54,000 (deluxe)

- Jungmun Tourism Complex: KRW 35,000 (regular), KRW 63,000 (deluxe)

- Seongsan-eup: KRW 45,000 (regular), KRW 81,000 (deluxe).

- Seogwipo: KRW 30,000 (regular)

Payment by cash, credit card and T-money is allowed.

Note that there is a surcharge from 00:00 am to 04:00 am.
